Can you imagine a 25-metre long lorry trying to squeeze down your local roads?
It might happen. A new breed of super-lorries is now being considered, 50% longer and over a third heavier than existing 44-tonne lorries. Let's make the Government realise these 60-tonne beasts shouldn't be allowed and that rail freight is the real alternative that needs investment.
