We have long provided talks for school assemblies and workshops for classes from year 3 up to sixth form students and even adult education courses.
The topic of the talks is negotiable in advance, but in the past we have done sessions on everything from general sustainability or the environmental effects of food to aviation and the arguments against the runway extension at Birmingham Airport.
Our educational arm is a registered charity and donations are welcomed in return for the time we give to do such talks.
We are always looking for new opportunities to talk to young people about the environment and engage them with living a more sustainable lifestyle, so if you'd like someone from Birmingham Friends of the Earth to come along and do a talk, a workshop or help out on a special day, please get in touch with us.
