Well done Jeff !

Jeff Rooker, Member of Parliament for Birmingham Perry Barr, is the Food Safety Minister. This is a key issue to our everyday lives and one on which Mr Rooker appears to be tackling with energy.

Already he has launched a campaign to make caterers more aware of killer food allergies. Even tiny amounts of nuts, seeds, shellfish etc. can affect people with severe allergies.

Perhaps next we could persuade him to move onto describing the ingredients of multi national 'Fast' foods. Included could be the parts of the animals used, and the consequence on supplier countries of the required agriculture. But maybe he'd rather not be sued.
