Volunteer Opportunities

Birmingham Friends of the Earth campaigns on a variety of concerns. However this is only possible with the help of a team of dedicated volunteers.

Would you be willing to give a few hours here and there campaigning for a greener future? You can gain valuable work experience or just something fun to get involved with.

Newsletter editor(s)
Our newsletter - the one you are reading - is produced thanks to the hard work of a dedicated volunteer. We are looking for someone to take on this role: only a few evenings' work every other month!

Campaigners
Campaigns - we have volunteers who are interested in most issues and some who are concerned with a specific campaign. Presently our priority campaigns are:

Why not come along to our weekly Monday night meetings, 7.30pm at the Warehouse!

Web designer
Are you interested in web-design? Our website regularly needs updating, maybe you have ideas on how we can change it? Make it more interactive?

Fundraiser
Birmingham FoE needs funds to be able to campaign effectively. Would you like to gain experience in this field, or are you an experienced fundraiser wanting to share your ideas with us?

Receptionists
Our Building, based in Digbeth houses the Birmingham Friends of the Earth local group among other organisations. The reception is covered by volunteers, manning the phones and dealing with enquiries.

As you can see there are many ways you could get more involved in the work and daily life of Birmingham Friends of the Earth.

Contact Maud Grainger or Dave Clare at info@birminghamfoe.org.uk or call 0121 632 6909 for more information.
