Friends of the Earth Birmingham Action Briefing Oct-Nov 97

The young people's part of FOE. It provides access for teenagers to get active and informed on environmental issues. As a youth group it depends on young motivated people to keep it generating.....

• CAMPAIGNS on issues that directly affect young people such as the Bus service.
• DEBATES so young people's opinions are voiced (making a video was great here).
• DEMO'S as part of FOE, GENERATION EARTH is a vital force to further larger causes such as raising awareness of traffic pollution.
• CONSERVATION WORK: GENERATION EARTH gets practically involved at a GRASS-ROOTS level to make Birmingham Green.

Based at Digbeth FOE meetings are held every MONDAY at 6.00 p.m., it's free to join and get involved.
