New: Recycled
Card
We have 100% recycled card
for sale, A2 size only, 300-380 grams per square metre, in either pink or blue,
from mixed office waste. No additives, UV-resistant dyes (to prevent fading),
earthy colours (green/yellow) from old cardboard, UV resistant pigments.
The card is manufactured in Hemel Hempstead by Frogmore Mill, the first ever
mill to produce continuous paper. The mill is owned and run by Papertrail, an
educational Charity.
The card is on sale for 60p per sheet, including VAT. With our limited area in Reception, little of the card and paper can be displayed. So please ask: we may well have what you want. If you would like any please ask for Dave Clare on Reception or call 0121 632 6909.
The Warehouse continues to sell a wide range of recycled papers, coloured as well as white, heavier weight (conservation), watermarked paper suitable for letterheads, etc. Prices start at £3.15 per ream for our white 100% recycled copier paper, and paid up Birmingham Friends of the Earth supporters get a 10% discount on stationery products.
Greeting Cards
We now sell a range of greeting cards
made from the recycled card mentioned above. Most occassions are catered for,
including Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, Diwali and Eid. The cards are
£1 each and are supplied with recycled envelopes.
Toner/Inkjet
Recycling
From October 2004, we are offering
a new recycling service for toner and inkjet printer cartridges. Just bring
your used cartridges to the Warehouse Reception, pop them in the box, and we'll
get them recycled, raising money for our campaigns in the process. Unfortunately,
not all toner and inkjet cartridges can be recycled as yet but the majority
can so bring all your empties along.
