West Midlands Regional Planning Guidance meeting and social

On 11th September the Secretary of State's proposed changes to the RPG were published. We now have until 12th December 2003 to put forward our thoughts. West Midlands Friends of the Earth will be holding a meeting to discuss the implications of this document for the region on October 25th in the Birmingham Midland Institute from 1pm.

This will be followed by a regional social in the City Centre which is open to all. Please do book in for the formal part of the day so as we can track numbers and organise catering. The social will kick off from 6pm in the Old Joint Stock in St Phillip’s Square, Birmingham. A separate sheet prepared by Guy accompanies this update and outlines some of the opportunities, challenges and on going work for all of us in the Friends of the Earth network across the region. We look forward to seeing you on October 25th to take these issues further.
