Our apologies to those who received two newsletters in June. A few labels were printed twice by mistake. If you don't keep your past newsletters, please drop these (and any spares you may receive!) in at your local doctor's/dentist's surgery; library, etc.

Have you any spare time during the day? We currently have two vacancies for volunteers to take responsibility for stocking and ordering stationery/leaflets and merchandise for sale in the Reception area. From September, we will also have several vacancies for volunteer Receptionists (both during the week and on Saturdays). Flexible rota or fixed weekly/fortnightly (on Saturday also monthly) times possible.

A new tenant - Smethwick Energy Action - is now with us. Like Energy Savers, it is one of the Network Installers under the Government's Home Energy Efficiency Scheme. Energy Savers and Smethwick now have a joint project doing Cavity Wall Insulation from a base in the End Bay. Anyone who is interested in having Cavity Wall Insulation should contact Energy Savers on (0121)-643-8310.

Brumcan's recycling and education work (Liz and Hazel respectively) is now organised from a newly created office on the ground floor. Their warehouse has moved to Hartop Road, Saltley.

Before our telephone system finally died, we took the opportunity to invest in a replacement. This has been recycled from another company's upgrade. Our own system has been taken for recycling/re-use.
