How can you HELP ?

Come along to our regular Monday night meetings at 7.30 here at the Warehouse 54 Allison Street B5 5TH.

Volunteer to help during the day. There is plenty going on from staffing our reception area, general odd jobs around the warehouse and of course campaigning work.

Write a letter, there are plenty of topics included in this newsletter on which you could write a letter to for example your MP / potential MP, your councillor or the boss of a company responsible for environmental destruction.

Friends of the Earth is a pressure group working to protect the environment. It operates in 35 different countries. The UK Friends of the Earth has 300 local groups, large and small and over 200,000 supporters.

FoE aims to:

stop the destruction of trees, flowers, wild animals and birds
stop the pollution of the air, sea, rivers and soil
stop precious resources being used up in wasteful, polluting ways
make the Earth a healthier place to live

making the news
international and local action
lobbying parliament
putting ideas into action
influencing decisions makers
educating...and much more
