A different type of media star

Dave Green was interviewed recently in a local paper about his involvment with Shrewsbury Friends of the Earth local group.

Dave was able to discuss the history of the group, its membership, and its ongoing work in the town.

This kind of media exposure is a really good way to get across a softer image of your local group as opposed (or in addition) to the usual campaigning message. So why not see if you can get some features on your group in your local newspaper as a way of boosting awareness of your campaigns and maybe attracting some new members?
