Congratulations

. . . from all at Birmingham Friends of the Earth to Brett Rehling and Tracey Fletcher on their marriage, 18th July 2003. The wedding was a truly superb occasion after which the partying went on until the early hours of the morning, the main wedding present was (or will be) a patch of Woodland Trust woodland and the “Best Person” even managed to get a campaigning message on airports into his speech.

Brett and Tracey, we wish you a bright green future together, if that doesn’t sound too garish.

She's leaving
As some of you may know, our Daytime Campaigner Jenny Thatcher is leaving at the end of August to attend Bradford University where she will be studying Local Sustainable Development.

Jenny has been in the job for over a year in which time she has orchestrated many a successful campaign and numerous days of action as well as providing invaluable support to the campaigners and staff at Birmingham Friends of the Earth. We all wish Jenny every success with her studies and hope she will not be a stranger to Birmingham and the Warehouse. Good luck, Jenny!
