Glastonbury thanks

Thank you to everyone who came and helped at the Glastonbury Festival this year! For those who don't know, we run four of the Property Lockups, a 24-hour service for which the Festival pays us. This means 78 volunteers going down to the Festival for a whole week.

Despite a bad start (the coach was 4 hours late!) it was one of the smoothest-running years we've had, largely thanks to our volunteers being a very reliable and hard-working bunch. I hope you all had as good a time as I did.

Meanwhile, we had a chance to distribute some 'GM Nation?' questionnaires, and from donations tins we got at least £1,100 towards Birmingham Friends of the Earth's campaigning funds which will also help enormously.

Thanks again, and to Andy O’Callaghan for his help as always.

Karen Leach
Property Cockups [Sic] Co-ordinator.
