Warehouse News

Although, in the last issue of Action Briefing, I reported the imminent arrival of new owners at the Warehouse Cafe, this didn’t happen. At the eleventh hour, they had to withdraw. Until further notice Molly is still the owner.

In the meantime, the Cafe is open as usual Mon -Sat lunch, Fri & Sat evenings (booking recommended) plus ‘specials’. For further details phone the Cafe on 0121 633 0261.

Having decorated quite a few neglected areas of the Warehouse, we have embarked on the most difficult phase. Those of you who have seen the ‘Top’ office will know how busy it is - with currently six organisations squeezed in there. We’ve started at one end and eventually hope to reach the other!

Soon we say ‘Goodbye’ to Ian, who’s worked in the Cafe for five and a half years. Ian epitomised the Warehouse ‘spirit’, prepared to help anyone at any time. Those of us who regularly work in the Warehouse will miss him greatly.

Holiday closing
The One Earth Shop will be taking annual holiday from Mon 4th to Fri 8th August inclusive (open Saturday 9th). Warehouse Cafe and Friends of the Earth Reception will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August only.
