Warehouse 21 - The Street Party

At the time of writing, I am awaiting a reply to the proposal for a Street Party on 2 August 1998. In the early years FOE Birmingham held a Street Party outside the Warehouse on Alison Street. The picture in the centre pages shows the local beat bobby starting the 'balloon' race with his whistle and truncheon!!

In our proposal we've outlined the set up for the day and, all being well, we will advertise this event in the next Action Briefing. If you are not a regular reader of Action Briefing then you might like to contact us nearer the time to find out the details. However, if you are not a regular reader then why not join and have Action Briefing delivered free to your door every two months???

I'd strongly advise readers to look out for Street Party prommotional material in The Warehouse and to contact Reception on 0121 632 6909 closer to August 2nd for more details. I'm not only saying this because it's going to be a fantastic day out and you'd be crazy to miss it, but August 2nd is very close to the printing/distribution date of the next issue and it might not reach you in time. Note the date in your diary and get yer party pants ready...!!
