The 21st Anniversary Buffet

FOE Birmingham campaigners, young and old, met up on Sunday 26 April at the Warehouse to celebrate Birmingham FOE being in the building for 21 years.

50 plus people came from as far as Cardiff, Leeds and London for a vegetarian buffet provided by the Warehouse Cafe.

It proved to be a wonderful occasion for people to link up again and the Warehouse was bulging and noisy with the animated conversation.

In some ways it was rather overwhelming and the few hours allowed didn't really enable people to talk to everyone they wanted to. A number of people sent cards of thanks and mentioned they had found it an emotional experience. Everyone enjoyed our exhibition and were able to put names to the people in the photos left out for display.

Fortunately everyone will be able to repeat the experience at the street party on 2nd August (subject to certain requirements) where space will allow more people to be invited.
