Fun-raising

My final quiz night was on Thursday 23 April and although the numbers were somewhat lacking we still raised around £50 and had a good night. My thanks goes out to everyone who has helped with 'Beer & Brains' quiz nights over the years, especially Chris Tarpey, Chris Crean, Andy O'Callaghan, Paul Mason and of course John and the people from the 'Greater' Spotted Dog on Alcester Street in Digbeth. Anyone want a job?

As with last year, we are organising a crew for Glastonbury to work on the lock-ups and raise money for FOE Birmingham. If you would like to be part of the crew, subject to space, then drop me a line (telephone, write or e-mail beverlyc@dial.pipex.com) and I will give you the details. The dates for the festival (for our crew) are 23 - 29 June inclusive.
