Spaghetti Junction 30 Years Old!
On the 24th May the Highway Agency celebrated the 30th birthday of Spaghetti Junction while at the same time Birmingham City Council is destroying Masshouse Circus - a similarly awful concrete monstrosity which is only one year older than Spaghetti. Masshouse is coming down to popular acclaim and Birmingham FOE have little chunks of the concrete for sale at 50p a go as a memento to this symbol of the backward thinking that gripped the country in the 50s and 60s. How long do we give Spaghetti????
