Next Steps and the Constitutional Convention
The draft Spatial Strategy and Indicative Policies Documents were presented for public consultation on May 23rd. This process will run until the 20th July, thus crossing the county council elections on Jun 7th which could see a couple of counties changing overall political control which in itself could affect the regional agenda. If you or anyone from your group is interested in commenting on the document either from a sub-regional perspective or from a regional overview please get in touch with Chris Crean on 0121 643 9117. The regional constitutional convention will be hosting a number of events in June: again contact Chris for more details.
If you are interested in working for the convention they are looking for volunteers to form a sub-regionally based Community Outreach Team to work with members of the Convention and its central support team based at Aston Business School: for more info contact George Moran - 01902 663542.
