Sustainable Communities Bill
(a.k.a Local Sustainability Bill)

The following 19 West Midlands MPs have signed EDM 169 in support of the Bill:

Jim Cunningham, Janet Dean, Mark Fisher, Bruce George, Roger Godsiff, Matthew Green, Brian Jenkins, Lynne Jones, Andy King, Julie Kirkbride, Paul Marsden, Bill Olner, Geoffrey Robinson, George Stevenson, John Taylor, Richard Taylor, Dennis Turner, Joan Walley and David Wright.

This is quite an impressive list both in numbers and in cross party representation and means that all other MPs in the region are just waiting to be pestered by their constituents about it. One tactic (helped by the enormous remit of the Bill) is to find a local issue on which your MP has been active, such as trying to save a local post office, hospital etc., and explain that the Bill would help.
