Russell Raises Big Cash For Birmingham FoE

A huge thank you to Russell Tomlinson, who produced and sold a calendar featuring locals from the Prince of Wales pub in Moseley (including quite a few familiar but bleary-looking faces!) to raise money for Birmingham FOE and two other local charities. The exclusive, limited edition calendar was snapped up by the locals at a bargain price of £12, and the final copy was auctioned in the pub on New Years’ Eve for a record sum of £150! Total sales of the calendar raised over £500 for Birmingham FOE, which is a great boost to our funds to start the New Year.

In a few weeks’ time Russell will also be setting off on a solo trek from Durham to Brum and back in aid of Birmingham FOE. Thank you very much Russell, we’re looking forward to welcoming you back! See next issue for news on how the walk went...
