Local Groups in the West Midlands

Sadly, Dudley FOE have decided to fold. The group has a long history of working in the Stourbridge area and were heavily involved in successful campaigns to stop the Kidderminster, Hagley and Blakedown bypass as well as the massive 34 mile Western Orbital Motorway. Many thanks to Howard, Joyce, Lynne, Helen and Guy for their hard work especially over the last few years in trying to keep the group going despite dwindling numbers.

Campaigning will be taken forward in the borough by the Anti Bypass Campaign and Pensnett Action group to whom Dudley FOE have pledged some of their funds. However we will also be trying to establish a new FOE group in Dudley if there is interest amongst local people to work with FOE.
