- Saturday 20 January 2007 - 7:30 pm, Selly Park Baptist Church: "Christianity and Climate Change"

Jean-Francois (Jeff) Mouhot will be speaking on "Climate Change and Christianity". The talk will include a powerpoint presentation on Climate Change (causes, consequences and why Christian should be concerned about the issue). A 15 minutes DVD made by Operation Noah will also be shown and there will be plenty of books and leaflets on display. Jeff Mouhot is the Energy and Climate Change campaigns coordinator for Birmingham Friends of the Earth, as well as being involved in the Climate Speaker Network. He is also a member of Christian Ecology Link, Operation Noah and Rescue! History, a newly created group of historians who seek to connect their diverse research to current realities of climate change.

- Monday 5 February 2007 - 7:30 pm, Carrs Lane Church Centre, "Climate Change and Poverty"

Three speakers (including Gerry Wolff, Coordinator of TREC-UK) will be talking and answering questions on why Climate Change will affect the poorest people first and what solutions can be found.
